  : Room by the beach with an independent heating/cooling system you can control yourself, great in the cold January night I stayed there. Very friendly staff, and actual keys to the front door and the room - I much prefer them to the magnetic cards, etc. The location is excellent: by the beach, easy to find if you come by train - just following the first street down to the beach. Also, there are several trekking routes and shorter walks you can do from there, which is the reason why I spent the weekend in Cubelles.
  : I'd read about the plastic matress covers, and they do make a bit of noise, but it's no real problem.

  : The sea view is okay, though the balcony is facing another building, not the sea, which is to the left. The room is clean, but not too big. The host is really nice and welcoming and gave us all the things we needed - spoons, corkscrew, etc. There is free parking near the location (not free in the summer though).
  : The bed sheets were not that clean, and the aircon had the smell of fungi. The stairs are very narrow, not comfortable to bring the luggage up. For the price it is okayish, but we were there in there out of season. In summer it is more expensive.
