  : 17th century building that the owners spent 4 years renovating, the room was very spacious and clean. Grea location for old town Cuenca. They have an arrangement with a nearby parking lot

  : The location and the views are fantastic! The host Estella is very friendly and helpful.
  : The cleaning was a little disappointing, and the shower system was poor. The water pressure was low so it was hard to take shower properly. The lime-scale clogged the shower head so the water hardly came out from the niagara shower head. Also, the water was leaking badly from the bottom of the shower tray.

  : The bed was the hardest Ive ever slept on with uncomfortable pillows and plastic under sheet. its a difficult drive to the building up narrow streets. more information on that before arrival would have been very helpful. couldnt get the hand held shower to work.

  : The accommodation is in a restored hanging house in a good location in the old part of Cuenca. The decor was charming. The building has an elevator.
  : The host was slow to answer (translated) queries, if at all. No instructions issued prior to arrival. Host speaks only Spanish and I would think twice about booking this hotel if you do not. There is NO parking for this hotel. A parking garage is located nearby; however, it was full upon our arrival. Alternative parking (if you can find it) will involve steep slopes and stairs to reach the house. The room was not clean. The floors were very dirty. My feet or socks became black walking around the room. Everything was dusty.The bed was very hard and uncomfortable with hard bolster type pillows. The throw pillows on the bed were stained and one was even wet. The futon/sofa was also uncomfortable. The cushion was so thin you can feel the frame when seated. I cant imagine sleeping on it. The cute decor lacked functionality. The shower system didnt work well, the toilet leaked water, WIFI didnt work, the hot water tanks installed in the room whined while in use (probably supplying hot water to multiple guest rooms), etc. A lot of little things not working properly or designed poorly, a definite lack of attention to details. The location is good but it still involves a steep walk up to Plaza Mayor and other sites, but this is the nature of Cuenca.

  : The old town is built on a hill, and you have to be prepared for a 10 minute walk up the hill to the main plaza - where most of the restaurants and bars are located. The property is very characterful and in a quiet, atmospheric location. The host was very pleasant and helpful.
  : I have no negative comments to make.
