  : Everything was very dirty - linen, blanket, curtains, sanitary.. There was an awful smell in the room. It was very noisy and windy there.. I do not recommend this place

  : Really bad service, horrible odour, facilities are poorly maintained. washroom is completely gross, it doesnt meet basic standards. If you want to save money book a different place! Not worth it at all.

  : Great location beside Las Ramblas and near metro stops. There's a lift up to floor where hostel is, so it's good for those who mightn't wish to climb the stairs. I personally had no issue with them but if you're out all day and tired, then the lift is a very welcome sight.
  : The hostel wasn't like the pictures. It was in bad need of some TLC. But everything generally worked for us with no issue. You're definitely paying for location and that's certainly what's driving up the cost, otherwise it's not value for money. The mattresses had a memory foam topper, obviously in an attempt to provide comfort for the guests, but sadly this had the opposite effect for us. My partner suffers with back issues so I'd expect him to wake up in pain in most places we stay but I have no such issues, and I woke up each day with an incredibly stiff back. And didn't sleep great either with the discomfort, which is very unusual for me. In the booking I had requested extra pillows and was told that they'd provide these no problem. They weren't on the bed when we checked in so I asked the girl that checked us in for them again, and she said she'd look for some but you could tell that she had no more intention of getting us pillows than the man in the moon. That was the last we heard from her about them. I then asked a male member of staff on a separate occasion and he got these for us. The same member of staff was very helpful/obliging when I asked for directions to somewhere that would print documents for us or any other information requested.

  : Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. Good enough to allow us to leave luggage and rest in the lounge on day we checked out and left later to airport Bed was comfortable The location was excellent for getting to metro , shops and sights. Felt reasonably safe having overnight staff on duty
  : The place is very noisy from street below , rooms and bathrooms are very worn out and poorly maintained . Chipped tiles, paint , doors, shower tiled floor old . Taps dirty . Needs upkeep regularly to make it better value for money and more enjoyable No complimentary water each day in room No room tidy up Only one pillow per person available Towels old and thin . Only 1 provided had to ask for a 2nd ( booked for 2)
