  : The apartment is in a great location for seeing the city, with a metro stop close by and an easy walk to many of the popular sights. Although we didn't use them much, the apartment has good facilities for self catering, with a dishwasher, washing machine and electric hob, as well as air con for when it's hot. The neighbourhood is lively with lots of local options for food and drink, but the apartment itself is quiet due to really effective double glazing!
  : Nothing. We know the area and have stayed in these apartments before so for us, travelling as a couple, it was perfect. If you're a family or group and want to spend time sitting around inside, the apartment may feel a little small, with just 1 sofa and no balcony

  : The location is fantastic and the place is great for a family stay. The only issue was a minor bother but there was an unpleasant smell when we would open the kitchen drawers. The shower also drained very slowly... Clearly there is some kind of plumbing issue. But it was fine. I really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was clean and we'll equipped. Check in was easy and we had no complaints.

  : A nice clean apartment in a great location. In between the Gothic Quarter and the El Born District, you can walk to everything (2 min to metro, 4 min to Picasso Museum, 6 min to Cathedral, 10 min to Plaza Catalunya). The apartment is well equipped with kitchen ware, a washing machine and good wifi. Excellent hosts with good communication (that started right after booking) and very quick response times.
  : Not really a problem, but the shower is a little dated with the old style curtain rod and shower curtain. New glass door would be nice to prevent attack of the shower curtain.

  : Location excellent, perfect for 3 single travellers with one double bed and two single arrangement. Key collection and communication excellent. Good value for money.
  : Sometimes an unpleasant odour in the building, this impacted the corridor areas outside the apartment, likely due to old plumbing and little rainfall.

  : 1. Check-in When we arrived at BCNGOTIC, no one was there. We had told them a week before that we would arrive at 11pm, but due to a flight delay, we arrived after 11:30. After 10 minutes of ringing the bell of the office from the street, we messaged them again on booking.com, but no one answered! We ended up borrowing a phone from a kind person on the street to contact them. The staff who arrived after 00:00 excused himself saying that he contacted us on Whatsapp, but we don't use Whatsapp! If he couldn't reach us on Whatsapp, shouldn't he have also checked the booking.com message? Despite arriving at BCNGOTIC on time before 00:00, he charged us an extra check-in fee (30 euros) without informing us. We thought we only paid the city tax (5.50 euros per night), but after the trip we realized that we also paid the extra check-in fee. He was the reason we checked in late! We demand a refund of the extra check-in fee. 2. Rooms The 3 rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. However, every time I opened and closed the closet, it blew dust badly and made me sneeze. The room with a window was good for ventilation, but other rooms without windows had no way to ventilate. Fortunately, as long as I kept the closet doors closed, the dust was okay. 3. Restroom There were plenty of towels, and they were clean. But the water in the bathtub didn't flush. It was horrible. At first we thought it was just the bathtub, but on the second day, the sink water would not flush either. When showering or washing our faces, we had to turn off the water and wait 3 minutes. Well, the only thing in the bathroom that worked properly was the toilet. I guess I was unlucky when I checked in, but it was definitely not clean, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have bronchial or lung problems or are impatient with drainage. Still, it was a nice apartment with a good location, luggage storage, and elevator.

  : Need full length mirror (we were going for a wedding). The 2 smaller single rooms had no mirrors or natural light.
