: There was no breakfast !!
: It is unfortunate that I even have to write this review. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure and use various websites. for these bookings. In all the years I have booked through these websites, I have never come across a more misrepresented property in all my life. The building and garden look great on the bookings.com website but it is a total misrepresentation. The grass around the pool has not been cut in months so one cannot sit outside on the grass around the pool and enjoy it. Inside there is moss on many of the corners on the ceilings and in the one bedroom there is cement missing from the walls and damp all over the walls. If anyone wants pictures to prove it, I can very happily produce them, Then as we arrived about 5 to 7 cats arrived and unfortunately I am highly allergic to cats. So the place is very unhealthy......moss is a no, no and having major allergies to cats and not being able to breathe is another health hazard. We had booked for a week but after 2 days left because of the untenable situaion, After contacting Bookings.com the day before we left they were very accommodating and sympathetic and kind in my conversation and said they would sort it out and would feel the same if there were so many cats around. However a few days later Mr Toni, the owner of the house, said he would not give us a refund and Bookings.com stood by him. It was an absolute betrayal by Bookings.com and I have the whole conversation between Bookings and myself taped to prove it. From the very beginning when we met him and he showed us the house, he was cagey and not willing to give me answers to my questions and was not friendly. I should have know from the minute I received a curt message from him about where to meet him after I booked through Bookings.com. I feel violated and betrayed by both Bookings and Mr Toni. A reburesent if full is the only thing that should have been appropriate which Bookings said that they would do from our conversations.
