  : it was functional
  : - the process to get into the apartment was truly astonishing (in a negative way)- I got no fewer than 15 emails to pay a 9 euro tourist fee and a 300 euro security deposit after paying all of the room charges in full. that many emails just causes confusion and is borderline disrespectful. - the process to submit identification documents (which supposedly takes 1 minute) took an hour to get into the right file format (no heic files etc); I understand that its helpful for the guest to do all the database entry but this takes away from the experience - after sending the documentation in I was supposed to get instructions on how to check In - after not getting any instructions via email I had to get a Catalan speaker to call and ask questions - when I arrived in the small village it took 1.5 hours to follow detective type clues that were something out of an escape room. - to top it all off, returning the keys was a search for a tiny drop box that was located in a massive underground parking structure which was impossible to find - if you want to not pay for staff to interact with your customers thats fine but it requires a lot more work on the business process otherwise it dramatically reduces the quality of the stay
