Hotel Maestrazgo de Calatrava

  : Breakfast was fine. The location, Almagro, is a hidden old town, we would never have found if we had not been by accident in between Lisbon and the Spanish East Coast. One night was fine. Would not know what to do if I had to stay longer. A dead place at this time of the year (October)
  : There was no restaurant int he hotel, so although we were very tired we still had to go out to find something to eat for dinner. We found an open tapas place which was quite nice. The tiles in the room hurt your bear feet. The hotel is enormous but there were about five guests. It felt haunted. The room was too large and too cold. Had to take the blanket from the spare bed to get warm in the night.

  : the thing is: we were changed to another hotel in the group Retiro del Maestre due to alterations in the Maestrazgo. we were looked after very well in the Retiro in a lovely room and very nice, informative Staff. The breakfast and parking made it a lovely stay.
  : No coffee/ tea facilities in the room which would have made it better. The included breakfast was very good, however.
