: We loved the fantastic private pool - the perfect place to cool off and splash with the kids, as well as the super close proximity to the beach and shops/bars/restaurants. The well stocked wood grill made for an excellent bbq and the kitchen was very well fitted out. The owner was very communicative, responsive and helpful, replacing a toaster and fixing any other small issues very promptly. We really appreciated the flexibility of arrival time too. The central terrace was shady and a great hub for the villa, and there was a great selection of pool toys and beach stuff, which saved us buying more stuff
: We didnt realise from the photos that the layout of the villa was essentially 3 separate sections off the central covered terrace (kitchen/living/dining room and one en-suite double, the two twin rooms and another bathroom upstairs, and another ground floor en-suite double). As 2 families with toddlers we originally planned to put the 3 toddlers in the rooms with single beds, but this would have left them in a totally separate part of the villa (behind a locked door and up some stairs) from the other double rooms. We didnt want to be so far away for when the kids woke up in the night, so ended up not using one double room and sharing with/sleeping next door to the kids in the twin beds. This was a minor issue though and a personal preference, but it wasnt clear from the pics. Still a great villa in an amazing location! Other small issues - no hot water in the upstairs shower, no basics like salt/pepper/oil/hand soap in the kitchen, but all these were easily available from shops very close to the villa.
