  : Good location near the beach with the best north-sea-waves you can imagine. Room and bath was clean. Instructions were informative and accurate ( but not really friendly). Water, shower and toilet worked all together. The costs for the final clean-up of the vacation apartment were included in the bill. The temperature in the apartment was OK. We got a place to park the car despite of the fact we forgot to order it. That was really a good thing. Thanks for that.
  : The tone of the mature women at the desk was actually harsh and commanding at the beginning ( when we arrived). She didn`t like I stood at the wrong place to talk to her, because of that anti-corona-plastic-device. Her manners increased during the conversation but the damage with the bad first impression was done. It`s not my fault she said that one sentence obviously often before. She forgot that it was (among others) I who actually payed her salary. In combination with that instruction paper and other command-papers hanging at the walls, the customer feels like he willingly went to a kind of prison to get "crapped on". It does not help if someone says "bitte" (please) at the beginning of such sentences, because it`s not "please", it`s rather imperative. The man at the phone was much better, btw. The old carpet in the room provoked allergic reactions. It should be replaced. The shower is cramped and you have to regulate both hot and cold water. There was almost no toilet paper and not a single coffee filter in the room. That leaved us with a more or less miserly impression. In the written instructions they underlined that they really do not want to see us guests giving back our keys, and that without exception. One could think they are just interested in the money, but try to avoid personal contact with the annoying customers as much as they can. I`m not willing to be treated that way, because I payed good money. The contrast with those friendly hosts in Denmark was more than noticeable. Nevertheless, I would and will come back to Sylt because of the waves and the good restaurants, but I`m going to try another apartment or hotel.
