Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Location was excellent for both the town and the railway. There were plenty of pots and pans but only one tea towel. The apartment was on the ground floor although there were two steps up to one of the bedrooms and lounge and they did not have a hand rail. The apartment was very clean and also easy to keep clean. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and the heating system throughout the property was effective and controllable. A card was provided which allowed you in and out of the multi storey car park, which was only minutes walk away, at no charge.
: Generally the facilities were good but we didn't like the wooden frames around the beds. We all finished up with bruises from them. The bathroom would have been better if there had been a stool or chair to put things on. Some of the lights did not work which made some of the rooms (upper bedroom and kitchen) murky. A small welcome pack including milk would have been useful as we arrived from the UK on Sunday evening. (Water and Prosecco were provided.) Two toilet rolls were provided which was not enough for four adults for a full week

: Very clean, warm, spacious, comfortable apartment. Great views up to The Shloss, excellent location, convenient for town centre and Harzer Schmalspurbahn stations. Host very friendly and helpful especially as we do not speak much German.

: We had gotten the impression that the hosts did not speak English, but they spoke English just fine. They were very kind - we had not understood that we had to bring cash for the payment, but they were large about it, and came back at another time. The flat was perfect for our needs and was close to everything we wanted to do.
: The travelcod was not there when we arrived, but they fixed it and even brought treats/snacks for the kids as an apology. We are not used to rent these type of holiday flats in Germany, so we did not realise that we had to bring our own toiletpaper - luckily the local supermarket had a big variety of toiletpaper, so it was easily fixed.
