  : A tastefully decorated place with comfortable furniture and lots of space, sporting two bathrooms (one of them has an actual bath). We stayed in the bottom floor apartment. It is located in the outskirts of Thale right below a big hill from where it is possible to walk to Hexentantsplatz. Supermarkets are about 1 km away downhill. There is a river right outside the windows on one side, which brings the comforting sound of running water.
  : The river right outside the windows on one side by one of the bedrooms, which brings a constant sound like an air conditioner in overdrive. Except you cant turn it off. But most of the time this wasnt really a problem. We were there in Easter and it was quite cold outside (-2 at night and around 4-6 degrees during the day), so we did not have the window open, which probably kept the noise down quite a bit. But as the sound is constant it is easy to sleep despite the sound. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but a few things would have been useful: Sharp knives (all knives are pretty dull). A bread knife. Pot holders for taking things out of the oven without burning your fingers to a crisp. A colander for draining pasta would have been nice as well. It should be mentioned that one of the bedrooms works as the entrance to another bedroom. We are a family so it was no problem for us. Just know that you cannot enter the last bedroom without going through another bedroom. The go-through bedroom has curtains by the bed so you can have a bit of privacy when in bed. The bed in the room by the river has a raised edge by the feet. If you are tall enough you will not be able to lie down fully stretched.
