  : The hotel is in a cute little village in a very nice region. Excellent view and nice clean air. Good atmosphere. Overall pretty nice. Breakfast was really good with a huge selection of items cold and warm. Dinner was good but lacked in size.
  : It was not the cheapest stay and the hotel is a bit dated for that price. Could use an allover update. Even if it decides to stay in this old charm look (Black Forest). Needs a bit a "refreshment". In this price range other places are more up to date with trends and "looks". The dinner was good but the waiter was a bit unprofessional with his little comments about food and things. The spa was okay but the water could be warmer and the outside pool heated. Our room had a great view (lakeside) but was half modern half not. I think the hotel needs to rethink its purpose and "look" and update a bit. Dinner was good but they should size down the 5 course dinner to a 3 course but make the portions bigger and better. The 5 course dinner soup was just a broth with 2 chunks of meat in it. We hit the salad bar big to be fed as the main course was tiny pieces of meat too. Was more like a tasting menu....we d rather have just 3 courses but well done. Just as in input.
