  : We were visiting the Sackmann for the second time to eat in the 2star Michelin restaurant
  : I booked a superior double room as we had stayed in one previously- the room we stayed in before was spacious with a modern bathroom and a balcony overlooking the river. On arrival at the hotel - which is like a building site as there is a huge extension being built on what was the car park (now only enough parking for about 10 cars) - we were given the keys to our room on the third floor . On entering the room, I could not believe my eyes - the room was appalling- it was tiny and old fashioned and the bathroom looked like it was fitted out on the 70s. I would have been ashamed to give anyone this room if it was my hotel, especially such a supposedly esteemed establishment. I went straight to reception and said this was not the room I had booked - the receptionist looked at the system and said this was correct and I had been allocated the wrong room but there were no others and that I could have this room at a discount. I was not prepared to stay in this room and told her I would look for somewhere else. She then said she had another room which she showed us but this was equally as bad so we left (with another guest following us our so he could take our space in the car park as he had had to park his car elsewhere due to lack of space!). We had driven over 600kms to stay at the Sackmann and eat in their Michelin star restaurant and to be given the room we were was unforgivable. We will not be returning .

  : Food was good, especially breakfast. The pools and wellness areas were very nice.
  : Service was disappointing. Rooms, even in the renovated part, were shabby and had no toiletries except soap.

  : welcome with glass of Sekt spa area fantastic breakfast and diner at murgstub possibilities to do walking tour from hotel in the forest and end at hutte
  : admission of very little child from 2 to 5 years old that sprang in both swimming-pool and crying. I do not except that in such a Wonderfull wellness stars Spa area where I wanted to relax . I would propose to limit access to little children minimum to some hours so that adults can relax. It should be relaxing area and not stress area.

  : We enjoyed the facilities, SPA, and the atmosphere very much. We lived in the newly refurnished part, which is quite clean and comfortable.
  : Although we enjoyed the SPA, the "kinds"/choices of SPA and sauna rooms are very limited. It would be great if the "SPA" hotel could provide more different free SPA options, e.g., different aroma sauna, massage whirlpool.
