  : really easy to find very closed from the highway
  : furniture are old and need to be refreshed , The king size bed was made with 2 beds , the matress were too smooth. and cherry on the cake , I asked many times to get a room at the groundfloor level , with an direct access to the parking . i received a message from the hotel which was strongly offering a room at the first stair same as the reception ; because I insist I got my room at the groundfloor , not with an access to the parking but a fantastic view on the garbage , iI must ask to myself if it was because we have been upgraded by Booking !....

  : The ladies at the restaurant were very nice. The hotel room was looking at the park.
  : No air conditioning. Split mattresses on a queen bed. These mattresses are not secured and are sliding off just upon sitting down on bed. This was the bed arrangement the staff deemed acceptable to put a newly engaged couple in that was going to be staying at their hotel for a week. Moldy bathtub area. Braking apart doors in the shower. Broken trash can in the bathroom that the cleaning crew gave up on fixing themselves. Cracked fridge. Absolutely outdated facilities. Old elevator gets stuck between the top floors. Upon kindly contacting the staff in regard to switching the split mattresses, the gentleman at the reception was sweetly rude and assured us that the cleaning crew would switch the mattresses the next day. Neither anyone came to help the next day, nor anyone came to clean the room or bring fresh towels. It would have been nice for the staff to introduce their guests to the list of the potentially useful hotel amenitiessuch as a fan that the guests apparently have to request for the non air conditioned facility in July, which we found out from other hotel guests in the same desperate circumstances. We have seen a number of Van Der Valk hotels while traveling through Europe. It is my hope that the Moers location was a frustrating exception and not a general notion. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

  : Helpful receptionists, location of the hotel is very good- very close to the motorway. You can go for a walk in the park - just outside the hotel.
