  : Unfussy traditional German hotel right in the car-free historic heart of Marburg - to which you have to walk from the top of the car park. Beds were comfortable, room tastefullly and traditionally furnished, equipped with kettle and mugs and spotlessly clean. The self check in and lift up to our floor worked seamlessly. The view from our windows was stunning. Cute old-world breakfast room with a plentiful, freshly served breakfast. Pleasant staff. As is typical for an older building, there are some steps up and down on the ground floor(s) - not a problem for us, but a consideration for anyone with mobility challenges.

  : Best location in the centre of the old town, beautiful old building, lovely staff, generous breakfast. Handmade wooden bed and furniture gave the room a comfortable welcoming character.
  : Very old building, means low wooden beams and steep uneven stairs. Adds to the character and there is a good lift, but maybe not suited for the less mobile.

  : It is a beautifully located hotel in the middle of Marburg with lots of character. The rooms are a little old-fashioned but it fits the hotel very nicely and the beds are wonderful. The view from the hotel is also very nice and the breakfast is definitely worth it! The lady who runs the hotel is super nice and as I had a late check in, it was possible to get the key from a storage locker at the entrance. Don't forget that there is no parking at the hotel, so you'll have to park in the Tiefgarage Close by, which is a 10 min walk to the hotel. That 10 min include lots of stairs! I heard there is an elevator somewhere, but I could not find it so I took the stairs.
  : The shower is a little small and old fashioned, but it is nice and warm, it just fits the hotel. The pillows on the bed were a little old, but not too bad.
