  : nothing but banging and noisy all night in the hotel , restaurant didnt have much to choose from. over rated for the price. would not go back again

  : Room a bit noisy with passing cyclists and pedestrians on path below. Would have liked a view of the lake.

  : Beautiful and convenient location. Nicely converted old mill building. Very quiet. Car parking available close by. Nice breakfast, taken in building next door. Although we arrived early for breakfast at the weekend due to our departure time requirements, the staff were very accommodating.
  : Reception not always open - we had to phone a given number when we arrived, and this took three attempts. On the third, it transpired that the lady was overseas, and she gave us another number, which turned out to be for Reception, which was closed (hence the phone call to the given number!) However, a receptionist arrived a little late, shortly after. The room was quite sparse, with little decoration, no tea/coffee making facilities etc., but it was clean and comfortable.

  : Beautiful location, great view from the breakfast room over the River Ruhr.Large room, comfortable beds.
  : No occupied reception if you arrive after 5pm.There was a mobile number to phone so they can let you in but the number was out of use.Not a great start when you just travelled 15 hours.Luckily we found someone in the restaurant next door who could help.

  : the location was nice at the watefront but sadly our rooms didnt have much of a view.
  : No water boiler in the room. Our friends had a room with kitchen but even there it had no boiler for tea which is pretty standard in every hotel.
