: Very nice modern and clean rooms. Breakfast was ok but basic. Not a lot of staff as check in closes at 8pm and during the day not there either. Nice location if you want to be close to Halberstadt centrum

: Modern spotlessly clean facility with huge bathroom including enormous walk-in rain head shower. Beds were most comfortable and there was ample space for two people. The buffet breakfast selection generous with a wide selection of food made available. Room and breakfast excellent.
: Check in and check out experience bad. While checking in the entrance door to the hotel was locked. You were given 3 numbers to call in case this happened. The first 2 numbers called were answered recordings in German only and as English speakers we were unable to comprehend the messages. The third number was answered by a real person who only spoke German. She did however get someone to the phone who gave us instructions to the lock box which then allowed us entry. Check out was a nightmare. I was most friendly in my approach when it came to paying for the stay. The lady serving us was absolutely UNFRIENDLY. She spoke only German which is understandable and should be no problem but she made no effort to be friendly and helpful, one whatsoever. She was rude and I also became impolite. I gave her my card to pay for the stay but their machine couldnt read my card nor did it accept payment when the card was place in the imprinter stating wrong pin. She arrogantly indicated its my problem. Fortunately I had cash to pay my bill. 15 minutes later I purchased gas with the same card therefore it is obvious that the fault lay with Allegro hotel and its printer or maybe even the, in my opinion, terrible person behind the counter. Never have I had such bad service only because she made no effort whatsoever to communicate. One person can ruin part of your day and stay. Almost evil.
