  : During the booking process it was not shared that there would be no breakfast or restaurant available due to vacation period. The referred restaurant was also closed. This was really inconvenient.

  : I had a problem with Booking.com and Hotel Havelster Hof in terms of communication. I booked a room not knowing that there is no reception desk in the evening. The hotel has a safety box with a code, where they leave keys for guests. The problem was that information about it was to sent my old account, which I did not use when logged-in to booking and completing the booking for hotel Havelser Hof. When I was calling the hotel around 22:30 - there was no one picking up the phone. another number, to a mobile phone - was provided on a sticker at the door. When I was calling it around midnight - also no-one was pick up that phone. All in all - this hotel should be marked as not having a front desk in late evening. They should also have information about the safety-box system for keys on the profile, which they do not have. In this case, however, big part of the problem was with Booking.com - for linking my reservation jot with the email I used for it but with another one. this way, I was I never received the necessary information. I could not access the property and I lost my money. Despite my explanation, hotel Havelser Hof decided to take my money and to say that I never arrived, which is not correct. In their explanations in an emails, after taking my money, they also were surprised how I could expect them to pick up a phone so late in the evening. Story short - it might be a nice hotel, but one should not expect any service if it is somehow outside what the hotel considers office hours. And information on Booking.com is not accurate in terms of accessibility.

  : The room was very small and cold the first night. The heat was fixed the next morning.
