  : There was little to like in this overpriced Ibis budget. Matter of fact, not only was there little to like it was far from budget see below. The room was relatively clean since there is nothing in it but 2 beds and the shower is basically an open glass small stall shower in the middle of the room with a sink hardly big enough to put a glass in if you needed to. No real facilities but you can get hit coffee in the lobby and very warm beer or soda from their little marketplace.
  : Booked a twin room for 2 nights at over $500 USD. Yes it was near the timing of Euro cup so one can argue this was budget for the timing but a twin room was booked and yet I was charged another 30+ euro at check in for the 2nd person as Ibis claimed the room is for 1 person not 2. #1 who books a twin room for 1 person when you can opt for 1 bed and #2 what is the cost of the 2nd person when there was no breakfast included, no room servicing, nothing!!! I questioned the charge and the stay was prepaid so it was pay the additional or not be allowed to check in and lose over $500 usd

  : The staff were nice. It did its job as a room to sleep in whilst I was in Koln for Euro 2024.
  : The size of the room, it is far too small. There was only me and my friend, but I believe it sleeps up to 3, however with just us 2 it was a tight fit with our luggage, especially as there is no space to store it or your clothes (There is a couple of hooks and a few hangers, but no drawer space). The price we paid was well over the odds (due to it being Euro 2024) I can't overly complain about this as other hotels were doing the same, but for what you get it is definitely not value for money. The small "shop" they have at reception is overpriced as well. I may be judging too harshly due the time of year I went, but if I were to return to this hotel it would only be for a stop over, I wouldn't be spending anymore than 2 nights in it.
