: This is a beautiful hotel is in the Black Forest very close to Baden Baden. Oliver is the host and was very helpful at check-in, and gave us great advice on what to do in Baden Baden as well as the surrounding area. Interesting lobby when you enter the hotel with some beautiful antiques. Our rooms were well appointed and we did enjoy having a balcony for each of our rooms. The breakfast room is very pleasant and immaculate with white tablecloths, real napkins and a huge assortment of food items to choose from including juices made fresh at the restaurant every morning. Hot food from the kitchen was also offered but we were more than happy with the assortment of fresh breads, buns, meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurts and granolas to name a few things so did not eat from the kitchen. Oliver greets each guest every morning and it is obvious he enjoys running this hotel and takes pride in doing so. He also recommended 3 restaurants for dinner that are very close to the hotel, we did visit 2 of them and his advice was spot on with the Landgasthof Hirsch being exceptionally good. Parking in front of the hotel was very easy.
: There is no elevator which is perfectly normal in most of the hotels we stayed in on our trip but it should be noted if you have difficulties with stairs.

: The only decent thing about this place is the breakfast, thats it and thats just not sufficient
: This hotel is very noisy and attracts noisy people that are up all night slamming stuff around. Forget sleeping there. Next, there is no elevator in the hotel and its 5km from the town centre. They charge 140 per night for that, just a joke. At 22:00 there was a power cut that wasnt resolved. The greedy and very rude hotel manager isnt there after 8 in the evening and the contact details for issues is well hidden, especially without light. Upon confronting him in the morning, he said lets just forget it and I cant disturb noisy guests, they need to be able to enjoy their stay. Haha, never again! Unbelievable
