  : Unfortunately me and my partner could not sleep a single minute during our stay on the night of 15 August 2023 because of the heat in our room. It is not acceptable and not in line with high-ranked 4-star hotels at european official standards to have rooms without air conditioning and not even being informed about that at the moment of the check-in, late that same night. At the check-out we were simply (and finally) told the room did not have air conditioning at all and that they could have given us a portable fan if we asked for it!!! I was really not expecting this kind of treatment and conditions at 4-star hotel in European Union. In the end we couldn't take the rest we needed and expected as we were traveling by bicycle a route of approximately 80kms per day. This terrible stay ruined not only the entire night of sleep but also the following day of bycicle riding, leading to changes in our plans. Also, I tried to place a formal complaint to the hotel because i found this situation unfair and unacceptable, but there wasn't a "complaints book" available. Thus I wrote them an email and received no answer. Unfortunately, we left the hotel sad, deceived and really tired.
