: Excellent breakfast, huge rooms, nice location. Otherwise friendly owners and staff.
: The reservation was made with an Amex card, no problem.... Until the moment we wanted to check out and pay with that same card and... Oh! So sorry... We seem to have a problem with Amex today. Can you please pay with another card?This happens too often with smaller hotels. 1000 apologies, but no Amex... Even if they do carry the logo. Marked the hotel down for this dumb excuse. A plain, reasoned refusal wouldn't have been this irritating.

: Spacious room, friendly staff, kitchen facilities, fridge with individual compartments for each room. Good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.

: It is a friendly (looks like family run) hotel. Very German and traditional. Breakfast is a buffet that covers all tastes. I had a problem with the WiFi in my room when I arrived but as soon as I mentioned it it was sorted. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
: It didnt particularly bother me, but the decor is quite dated. It could probably do with a facelift as far as the interior design goes, it reminds me of the 80s. For me the friendliness and the efficiency made up for it, but I should mention it in case someone is fussy about the look. My room didnt have a shower, only a bath. Once again not the end of the world but I should mention it. It is very quiet - which could be a positive or a negative depending on the person.
