  : We received an excellent welcome from the young male receptionist. He also helped with restaurant recommendations. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting the city in foot
  : The music that was played in the breakfast room and common areas in the morning. We had asked for the music to be turned to a lower volume or off. This was ignored

  : The receptionist gave me another room when I complained about the noise.
  : The room I had was vibrating all the time and it was extremely noise due to the viccinity of trams. Breakfast is poor. Hotel building is old and needs rennovation.

  : Air flow from air condition was very weak, completely not enough for a hot summer days. We described it to the hotel staff, but they did not fix it. The next tenant will suffer.

  : The location was excellent, just a short walk to everything and the view looking out to the castle was lovely - stay on a higher floor if you can for this view. The trams stop directly outside the hotel and there is a park, in which you can sit and watch the world go by. I have to mention Daria specifically, I have an injury and the room allocated wasn't suitable so she immediately switched me to a much better option - nothing was too much trouble for her and I asked lots of questions! The hotel is clearly a very old building and it was lovely to see some of what I hope were the original features. The room was spotless. The bed and pillows were lovely.
  : Reception wasn't open after 10pm so be mindful of this if you're arriving late. Breakfast was not good - I travel quite a lot and this was one of the worst I've seen/had. The food looked tired, handled to within an inch of its life, needless to say I ate out. The hotel itself in some parts was tired too and lacked what I've come to think of as the boutiqueness (yes I know that's not a word), putting quality hand soap and a few vanity products doesn't cut it. Apart from Daria, I didn't get a single smile or hello out of anyone else, found that incredibly rude which is not something I've come across that often. Wifi was patchy and not the best, irrespective of where you were in the hotel which wasn't helpful as I was working whilst there. Facilities...what facilities? I didn't feel that overall the hotel was good value for the cost unfortunately.
