  : Heating could not be regulated, mud all across parking space, no phone at room, no cable tv, dark outside the hotel at night, no lamps available, very soft beds, only one 230V wall outlet in the room, very slow WiFi. This hotel should have maximum 3 stars, not 4. The location of the hotel is at the end of village, the 4 star hotel does not suit to the nature area and forest around.

  : The location right on the hiking trails was great. I liked that. That's all. The breakfast was plentiful.
  : We were paying 20 euros a night for our dog to stay with us. The hotel advertises itself as being pet-friendly. However, when we entered the breakfast room with our perfectly-behaved dog on a leash, an angry lady with a rag jumped at us, screaming that she is to stay in our room. i wouldn't describe that as pet-friendly. I Germany, all the restaurants and hotels were welcoming to pets. Also, there were some dead flies caught by spiderwebs in our room.

  : Location and food -both breakfast and dinner - were fabulous. We were there for 5 nights on a hiking trip and although we had a car, we could actually get to loads of highlights like the Prebischtor on foot. The terrace also catches evening sun so even in October we could sit out after a hike enjoying a drink. It's very quiet, no noise from traffic and the air is beautifully clean for us city dwellers. The welcome drinks were a nice, friendly touch too - a choice of local liqueurs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, with the exception of one person who wanted to shoo us out of the breakfast room so that she could get on with prepping for dinner, which was not very customer friendly.
  : Downsides were that the dining room was closed several evenings when they weren't very busy so the wonderful dinners were served in the less attractive lobby. And the room was very small so it didn't even have a wardrobe! We had to keep some of our clothes in our cases and put the rest on coat hooks and on the window sill. The window was also quite small so you couldn't enjoy the lovely view

  : good location close to trekking trials, nice restaurant, solid breakfasts. Spacy parking and generally nice quiet place
  : If you stay couple of days breakfasts can become bit monotonous
