  : The staffs were very nice and helpful.The quality of items were good.
  : 1.The wifi was not working at the guest house at all.2.The ingredients they use to prepare foods are a class however the final dishes were somewhat below average either due to seasoning or overpowering taste of one item for excessive use. In a 4* hotel the expectation is higher as their prices are higher too,, it's not a road side restaurant...but instead of having a-class ingredients the final results of the food items were below average.... example sandwich....hot chocolate.... black coffee....etc. The rex staff doesn't know how to make sandwiches..we were surprised....we had to literally scrap out the mustard paste...it was put in so much amount.anyway we presume the skill set of the kitchen staffs were poor.3.In the guest house before you use the toilet you need to prepare yourself for a escape game... because it was soo closely fit to the wash basin that almost impossible to get out of that puzzle without getting hurt. The same for shower area... almost impossible to come out without being hurt in elbow or knee. It was so small.4.Room service - we stated 3 nights ...in mountain area we used to hike at the morning and come back afternoon (1 - 2pm) and the house keeping staff always came at 2 when we are in. So cleaning was never possible during our stay. Except the day we were supposed to check out...the house keeping staff came at 10 am. I let the reader understand it as they want.

  : The room was cozy and nice, the view from the balcony at Matterhorn was pure magic - especially in the morning. Breakfast was very good, home made bread was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.
  : The bathroom was a little bit small, but thumb up for natural soap and shampoo :)

  : Perfect location in the center of Zermatt, close to all the main lifts, restaurants and bars. The breakfast was really excellent and the staff at the hotel friendly and supportive. The room was very spacious and was absolutely perfect as a base for a 4 days hiking trip.
  : The mattresses in the room were not comfortable

  : Breakfast is outstanding. I also enjoyed the Rex Hotel garden and lobby very much.
  : Water pressure was rather low and it wasn't possible to get constant warm/hot water for showering.

  : Perfect location, very friendly staff, very comfortable beds. We were in Zermatt for a trail run race so it was important to have nice rest and a good breakfast. Good also gluten and lactose free options.
  : lacked a little bit of maintenance (door handle and toilet sink) but we informed the staff and I am sure they will fix it.

  : Short walk from the train station. Beautiful room with comfortable beds and pillows. Our room had a balcony with a great view! They had a wide selection for breakfast with freshly baked breads and organic food! Overall Great value for money! Would stay here again.
  : Shower stall was too small, kept banging my arm. Only has stairs but we did not mind since we only had handcarried luggage.

  : Excellent quality of food. Bakery was unexpectedly fantastic. Very nice and attentive staff at restaurant. Frontline staff at the reception were friendly, passionate and helpful. Alie and Liza were professional and always with a smile. The twin room was with a view that you can always see the Matterhorn.
