  : The apartment was delightful and lived up to its description. Nice view of town and down valley, opposite direction of Matterhorn. Quiet neighborhood close to cable car station.
  : Key transfer was frustrating, but mostly not the fault of the owners. The previous rude guest had booked an extra night but failed to check out before 1 PM, when we arrived. He'd locked himself in and wouldn't respond to the house cleaner's knocks. The cleaner kindly let us wait in another apartment until ours was ready at 3 PM. Also, although key code was provided, the name of the mailbox was not provided, which was confusing. But owners responded to the issues promptly by phone even though they were out of the country.

  : There was a smell of bacon when we came - it made it a little getting used to - we tried to get rid of it but it took about a day.

  : The apartment is enormous, and wonderfully located. We sat out on the balcony in the evening with cups of tea and watched the lights come on across the town as the sun went down. We had some difficulty finding the lockbox with the key on our arrival - however, the office manager for the property was very helpful and talked us through it.
  : While there were plenty of facilities available, there are no laundry facilities for the property. There ARE laundry machines down in the basement but these are NOT for guest use (apparently this was explained in the property information pack, but no such pack was present when we arrived). I found this out the hard way when I placed some clothes in the machine, closed the door, then discovered I needed a special key to work the machine OR open the door. (Fortunately the caretaker lady was able to open the machine for me!)

  : it was cold. There is a wood fire stove but no instructions on how to use it, we tried unsuccessfully.
