  : Hello, I am writing to Booking to complain about my experience with Homestay Zurich. We (my partner and me) could not stay there that night. When we arrived at the place we wrote the code that had been provided to me in order to get the room key and we didn't get any key. I called the contact number that there was written there and I spoke with the owner, who told me that there was no room available. The booking was made two weeks before, it was confirmed and at no time was I informed of any inconvenience in this regard. I asked why my room was not available and the owner told me that it didn't matter why, that I was wasting my time talking to her instead of looking for another accommodation and she told me that she had said "sorry" and there was nothing else she could do for me. She was very unpleasant to me and rude at times. After several calls and a long wait, the owner told me that the only thing she could offer me was a sofa bed in an office she had elsewhere in Zurich. She told me that this was for free and that she would pay me back the money I payed for the room at Homestay Zurich.We went to that office where we found a small sofa bed and we spent the night there the way we could. I wrote to her on Saturday and I told her that I would like to know when she would refund me the money I had paid. She has not answered me or told me anything else until now.I feel very disappointed with this situation. I hope Booking can solve it. Thank you. David Morat

  : The lack of consideration of other guests in close proximity... family with a baby that made a lot of noise.early in the morning. No attempt to contain the noise by keeping their door shut. Everyone else was conscious of other guests

  : Location and view from accommodation was okay.
  : The worker was very rude and unhelpful during check in. Multiple times, guests piled up at the entrance, confused as to how to get inside. In the stairwell was a box from a fetish sex toy set, felt somewhat uncomfortable about this. Sheets were dirty upon check in and left with bug bites, but did not find bugs. All bathrooms were flooded the whole time, bring flip flops. Definitely not worth the price.

  : Be careful because the owner of the accommodation will enter your room without permission.He came into my room in the middle of the night even though I was asleep inside.And booking did nothing about it.I hope that legal action will be taken against this horrible person.

  : Don't stay here unless you're desperate. Loud tenants walking in and out of the rooms all night, smell of smoke and cigarettes, no garbage cans in any of the rooms. Would not stay here again.
