: The location on the lake in the centre of Sachseln was ideal. The area is quiet. The inn itself was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. All details - robes to use the shared bathrooms, towels to go for a dip in the lake, as well as extra toiletry items - were thoroughly thought out.Finally, a coffee machine to make tea or coffee at any hour was available in the breakfast room. As for the breakfast itself, it contained all we needed, including a beautiful fruit salad, something that is too often missing. Yogourts, bread, cheese,s meat, and eggs set us off adequately for the day's hike.
: While the walls were thick and barely anything creaked, there are still people who don't know how to close doors, walk down a flight of stairs, or keep their voices down while in their room, all essential manners in tight quarters. That said, we were able to sleep well once everyone went to sleep.

: Just a lovely location and with great views. Verena was very attentive and friendly and runs a high quality establishment with customer needs in mind. I was too hot with the duvet provided so she replaced with lighter version which really helped. Lots of choice for breakfast!
: No complaints.
