: The Hanford is a nice apartment in Schale type of building located close to beautiful landscapes in Lautenbrunnen. The host is very friendly and willing to help. the apartment is large, clean, heated, cozy.
: The hot water is in limited supply. you can only take short showers. if your wife needs to wash her hair, which takes longer, there will be no hot water left for you. a new boiler is recommended for this apartment.

: The view. The cleanliness. The kitchen was SO well stocked with appliances, it made our lives so much easier, especially with kids (microwave, toaster, good size fridge). Host provided all of the little things too, like a sponge to wash dishes and plenty of pods for the dishwasher, multiple trash bags, dish soap, etc. Rolladens to mostly blackout the bedrooms at night were great. Having a designated parking spot was very helpful. When we travel, we like to stay very close to town, but not IN town, because we like quiet - and it was nice and quiet. The walk into town was easy - 8 minutes. The only time we used our car was to drive to Grindelwad, and even then we could've taken the bus (which we could have easily walked to). The host was awesome - very responsive and kind. I highly recommend this apartment for a family.
: The only thing I can think of is that the people above us were very active until about 9:30 at night and then woke up by 5:00am each morning and we could hear their footsteps - and this only woke me up, didn't seem to bother my kids. But this is NOT something I would let deter me from staying here again!
