The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished modernized and enlarged. It is located opposite Lausanne's Main Train Station a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and the shopping area. It offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The non-smoking rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels a minibar and a bathroom.
