  : Relatively cheap price in the area, located in a beautiful place, but there are no beautiful views from the hotel
  : The staff are nice, but the service is quite amateur, not client-oriented. The person who welcomes us and served at dinner, spoke only Swiss-German. Although the breakfast is until 10, at 9.40, when we came, some food was finished and not replenished.

  : For Switzerland the hotel is one of the cheaper ones. It was a 10min drive to the lake for a swim.The room was spacious and clean, but sparse and clinical but I guess for the price that's what you get in Switzerland. It's an OK place to stay if you are just passing through for the night but next time we will pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.
  : The breakfast food choice was limited and some tables seemed to be reserved for special guests, and everyone else just got what was left even if the tablecloths were dirty. (We ate dinner in a lovely pizza place by the lake but you can eat at the hotel.)The check in and check out were efficient but unwelcoming. The mountain views were very limited from our room. There were fireworks in the evening for Swiss national day celebrations but noone thought to tell us about them so we ended up missing them as we were in bed and couldn't see them from our room.

  : Emmetten is a nice place for a short stay. It was a good place for one night on our way to Italy. Friendly staff
  : Too much noise from cars passing by. The church bells are also annoying but I dont think they can change that. Room on 3rd floor but still too much noise to sleep well with open window.

  : The location is central. And the price was cheaper than others.
  : It smelled terrible in the room I was expecting the price for our stay to be reduced for that. The food in the restaurant was really bad( breakfast poor.

Disappointing

  : Bed was comfy and reasonably good spread for breakfast
  : Where to start!!!!!?The parking in the picture isnt where you park, thats over the road in a general office and apartments parking. Room was noisy and no aircon so was stifling. The bathroom was from the 70s and had no facilities other than towels and toilet roll. There was no glasses to put some water in, no tea n coffee making facilities, no usb to charge devices, so take a Swiss adapter as euro one doesnt work.The whole ambience is 40 years out of date. Not worth the money at all, and check out was a mess because the card machine crapped out, they tried to stiff us for a meal we didnt have.Genuinely sad that what couldve been nice was an expensive poorly equipped hotel. Its motel standard at best!!!!
