: The hotel seems to be run by a family. It is very minimalist rooms and facilities, but yet very homely. They have accommodated our request to arrive a little later than 7pm due to our Bernina train arrival at Tirano. Everyone that served us on arrival, breakfast and check-out were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade jams, cakes and juices. It felt all very special. It would be a very good place to come back in winter months too.
: It breaks my heart to say this, but staying in the top floor room with a loft with small kids was not ideal. There is a low small window that opens fully out upstairs in the loft. We decided one of us would sleep with our 6-year old upstairs (2 single beds), while the other would share the double bed with our 2-year old. The gate upstairs also does not close fully, there is a gap underneath which our little one would have been able to go under and ended up falling off the loft type stairs. It was all a bit too dangerous! I would recommend the hotel manager to look at the health & safety of that room before letting for families with small kids.

: friendliness and quietness of the location
: not restaurant in the village. But the proprietor was so kind to drive us to the next restaurant in Miralago. Wonderful!
