  : Sweet couple and great location. Clean bed and bathroom. Breakfast was good.
  : Our bathroom was separate from our room. Had to walk through a hallway to get to it. The owners were not on this level and it was no big deal but I would rather have a bathroom in my room. Beautiful Swiss cottage experience

  : Very kind and friendly hosts, nice breakfast (muesli, meats and cheeses, breads, spreads), comfortable and very quiet room, excellent location close to station, nice view on the lake, small private terrace with table and chairs outside room, spacious/big shower. Would stay again!
  : Only a couple of small things. As you can see in the photos, the room you are booking is the lower floor, the area with the painted white walls - the main pathway to the house (and to other guests rooms/areas, of which there are 4 or 5), so people on the path have a fairly clear view into the room, just in terms of privacy. The wifi was a bit tricky to connect at times. The bathroom is separate to the room, on the other side of an area used as the laundry by the hosts. But again, these are small things and weren't of concern for us. Just be aware it's a slightly uphill walk from the train station to get there, but only a few minutes very convenient walk.

  : Great view, clean, comfortable room. Nice, simple breakfast. The hosts are a pleasant, older couple. Located a short walk from downtown and train station. Brienz is a small-ish village a much more quite alternative to Interlaken but still close enough to get dinner in the city and come back to your B&B. As others have stated, the bathroom is outside of the bedroom, but it did not bother us.
  : Not a big deal, but the room could use a fan for those of us who run warm.

  : It was overall a lovely stay - the location, the view from the room, the value for money comparatively to other properties in the area - all worth it! The hosts were very considerate and allowed us to modify our stay dates, even though we had a non-refundable reservation. The facilities were clean and the room was very quiet - we felt comfortable and got the rest we needed. It must be mentioned that the bathroom is across the hall from the room, and the hosts sometimes use the hall (it's also their storage and laundry room), so it would be good to establish some boundaries for the times when you want 100% privacy.
  : A couple of (relatively) small improvements would go a long way: - Mosquito nets for the door and windows. It's stuffy without a window open, but there's a lot of insects if you do open. - Some diversity for breakfast. Of course, a hotel buffet is not expected from a privately-owned chalet, but adding some cold cuts, switching the type of egg dish if guests stay more nights, adding a couple of pastries or juices, it would make it from an OK breakfast to a great one.

  : its better to be warmer, the room wasnt enough warm , in the bathroom water hardly go down it was little difficult to feel freezing
