  : Excellent restaurant (although not cheap). Very relaxed, nice place to stay, high quality throughout and a well equipped/large suite.
  : Surprised by staff coming in twice without asking/advising first while we were in our room.

  : A lot of things are great here. For example, since we stayed as a family, we had the whole hotel to ourselves( there are two hotels)! The breakfast is also great and he is so welcoming when you meet him. Also, he specially made scrambled eggs because we were a little bit late for our train.
  : The fact that there were two hotels were just a little bit annoying. We had 4 suitcases so it made it a little bit worse. If you are elderly and are staying with your whole family, I wouldn't stay here. You also have to eat breakfast in the other hotel. It is also a bit far from the Bonaduz train station so we had to walk a little bit to get there.

  : Beautifully built hotel. Although you might think from the name 'Alte' (meaning Old) that it's some old creaky building, it is completely new from the ground up. The hotel is I think 8 years old max. Everything is beautifully finished to a very high quality. We stayed in a spacious room on the 3rd floor with exposed beams, large bed and lounge area. Breakfast was very well attended service. Free parking right in front of the hotel, and so easy to get to with a car. As it's about 13 mins drive from the hotel to Flims, it's a perfect alternative - with better value for money - than staying up in the resort. Of course you need a car ideally, and then you just use the Inside-Laax app to book your parking in Flims with a QR code right at the lift. Straight onto the lift thereafter. You can do by bus - but you have to change once so it's 30 mins bus ride to Flims. (tip to the hotel -- I would consider emphasising the fact that this is a NEW hotel)
  : I'm going to be very, very picky, only because the review asks for it. I found the blue light from the room blind switches a bit annoying at night (they're bright and can keep you awake). A little cover would be great. The beds are a tad firm for my taste. Maybe there could be a little menu at breakfast for some items that could be ordered - e.g .it could be clearer if you could order an omelette. But seriously, these are tiny points.

  : Excellent staff, truly exceptional at the reception desk
  : only thing to complain about is the double bed which would not stay together and had a gap in middle, but maybe we forgot to ask for a combined super king or king in time....
