  : It was modern and very clean, we could easily accommodate 3 adults and 2 kids. Loggia was very pleasant.
  : I could imagine a bit better kitchen equipment, e.g. the frying pen was very scratched.

  : Very BAD experience, renting and staying is not just a room.In detail:-basic apartment all equipped with ikea stuff. Curtains are only partial and don't cover all windows, so light comes in since early morning.Very BAD and LOW customer service:-I don't have the names of the customer service people, besides it would be hard to remember them since they are relocated abroad and barely speak German. I was repeatedly asked to speak in Spanish or English.No help at necessary times with repeated lies! A valuable item was left in the apartment: after minutes of waiting for customer service, I am lied to and told it would all be thrown in the trash. Then I was told that she would contact the cleaning lady but that since it was 9 a.m. (this is Switzerland!) she was probably still asleep and that I was guilty of thinking that everyone is awake at 9 a.m.Then they told me that the apartment was occupied and that I couldn't check it myself. Lie. I went to the apartment, rang doorbell and knocked for 15 minutes and no one ever answered. - Also I could only check in at 4:45 pm (instead of 3pm) because the apartment was still dirty! Does this seem normal to you? Almost 2 hours late in being able to check in. Imagine what it means if you have commitments and have to change/shower or whatever.They write everywhere that for even a few minutes delay of the client's check out they charge half a day!Cleaning lady was very nice and she did a good job for the apartment.So is there any partial refound for the 2 hours late? What about the many lies and the bad customer service?NEVER AGAIN with HITrental.

  : it had a very good value for what it offered and i was surprised by the facilities and all the necessities being there ( foehn, coffee cups for the machine, pillows, bed sheets, blankets) and soooo clean

  : The apartment is very well laid-out, comfortable and well-equipped. It is in a new, modern building so if you want old, do not come here. It is nice and quiet. The location is very well-served by the excellent public transport. (Bus 30, Tram 14 every 7 minutes) The Rhine is only a short walk away. Great choice of restaurants in the immediate area. A good supermarket right next door. I was here for work but I would not hesitate to come back for a holiday. I recommend without hesitation.

  : We booked the place last minute due to our cancelled trip to Germany coz of train strike. Very lucky to find this place easily, the host is responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in. It's a one bed unit (convertible to a spacious studio). The location is near a bus station and a short walk from Basel Bad Bf.

  : The location is near the Basel Bad Bahnhof and public buses stop is very close. The Basel Card is brilliant, allowing guest to travel on trams and busses within the city proper. Coop grocery store in basement of building is very convenient.
  : Only 1 key provided, not two as indicated by agreement. Very inconvenient. Television-only 7 channels, 3 had no volume, none in English. Beds in bedroom are rock hard. Black out curtains do not completely block out the morning sun. No A/C so windows all open and both fans running. (warm days that week). Cigarette smoke from other residence drifts into non-smoking apartment. Daycare center on first floor. Screaming, crying childrens voices echoes throughout the complex. Could not get futons to lie flat but they were more comfortable than the beds in bedroom. Bathroom faucet tends to leak easily. Dryers in laundry room never completely dried clothes, explains why there is a drying rack in the closet of the apartment. Short people will have difficulty reaching kitchen cabinets, glasses, plates, etc.
