Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The Basel Backpack offers pleasant accommodation in an urban loft style in the Gundeldinger Feld neighbourhood.
Shared showers and toilets are located next to the rooms. The wheelchair-accessible Basel Backpack also features a kiosk and a washing machine with a dryer. The Bar-Café PriMateria serves snacks and refreshments from breakfast to a late cocktail. There is also a kitchen where you can cook yourself and vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Guests receive a BaselCard upon check in. This Guest Card includes complementary use of Public Transport within Basel City and surroundings (Zone 10, 11, 13, 14 & 15, including Euroairport), free WiFi, as well as discounts on admission to cultural and leisure activities. Please note that the public transfer (2nd class) from EuroAirport or Basel main train stations to the hotel on the day of your arrival is free of charge with your booking confirmation.

Please note that from 13th September, 2021, there is a Corona certification requirement in Switzerland for guests aged 16 and over. This only applies to hostel guests in shared rooms. The property will ask for the QR code at check-in. Unfortunately, the property cannot allow guests to stay in a shared room without a valid certificate (unless it is a closed group).
