Situated 1500 metres above sea level in Bürchen on the south-facing slope of the Rhone valley the Hotel Restaurant Bürchnerhof offers views of the alpine landscape. Most of the nicely furnished rooms feature a balcony. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool and a children’s pool. A hot tub and a sauna are also provided and massages are available on request.
The Bürchnerhof also features table tennis and a children's playroom. After a day out in the fresh mountain air guests can enjoy tasty seasonal specialities in the Hotel Bürchnerhof’s restaurant. Special gourmet events such as the traditional wine-and-dine evenings with winegrowers from the region are organised as well. The Bürchnerhof can be found on the access road from Visp Turtmann Unterbäch Törbel and Moosalp next to the bus stop yet in a quiet location.
Bürchen is perfectly suited for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Bürchen has a great ski area with 6 ski lifts. Surrounding cities like Zermatt Saas-Fee and Montana can be reached within one hour by car.
