  : The location is awesome, by the Byzantine wall, just a few steps from old town, 3 minutes walk to the bus and train stations. Our room overlooked the lovely garden covered with vines and we had a view to the church. Venera and her family are super nice. Although we don't speak any Bulgarian, they used Google Translate to give us tips and information as their English wasn't great either.
  : The toilet is super clean, but the shower is old style (no partition or division, you shower practically over the toilet bowl). This is hardly a problem if you are going to the hot baths, but it's worth knowing. There was a steep flight of stairs to reach the room, but it was my fault for not asking beforehand. The window blinds let a lot of light through in the early morning, we're from Spain and we are used to sleeping in the dark.
