  : When I arrived I took a free bed and when I came back after exploring the city, the bed I had taken was occupied by someone else so there seemed to be confusion over not keeping track of which bed was free or not; unfortunately I was on the sore end of a disgruntled guest when they came back to see me in "their" bed.

  : Made me shift dorms in the middle of the night. With flash lights and sounds during movement, most people were up from their sleep. I was told the next morning that I was checked-in to the wrong room earlier.The property owner repeatedly spoke to me about all the issues guests have caused in the past on his property. It was not professional and I didn't need to know them.Property owners language and behavior is more command and control than being a pleasant host, which is what travellers seek.Water got clogged in the shower area. It was fixed after it was raised.

  : The hostel was clean with comfortable rooms.
  : I booked this hostel based on the idea that as a family-run hostel, I would benefit from local knowledge for my short, one-night visit to Mostar. On the contrary, upon arriving the female owner provided me with zero information about the city and told me that I would have to wait until her husband returned to have any of my questions answered (spoiler alert: I didn't meet him until later that night when he was telling all the guests to go to their bedrooms as if they were little children). This resulted in me spending a good chunk of my precious few hours running around Mostar trying to figure out how to exchange cash and book a transfer the next day to Dubrovnik. In the end, it was other guests who helped me find a fee-free ATM and share the best bus based on my schedule. Also, it wasn't a huge deal for my one-night stay, but there are limited bathroom and kitchen facilities that may not be ideal for long stays.

  : Close to bus/train station only 5 minute walk. Miran and his team are wonderful hosts. Large room, comfy bed, nice little courtyard and kitchen. Miran does a day trip to waterfalls, beautiful old towns, dervish monastery and skywalk. Best value for money and commentary on the local area. If you're going to Sarajevo take the train, it's cheaper, quicker and sit on the right it's spectacular trip.

  : I spent one night and the hostel, but could have stayed longer! The hostel was quaint, with great travellers to chat and chill with. The owner Miran was super helpful too. Great location too.
