Country House Marića Gaj is a family-run agrotourism set in a traditional house in Ružići 30 km from Međugorje. Featuring free Wi-Fi and free parking it offers a restaurant an outdoor pool sauna and a volleyball court. : The water in the bathroom didnt work at all. We had to brush our teeth with the shower hose. There was a wedding on right underneath our bedroom window, the noise was extreme, the host did not move us as he said there was no other rooms available. we did not sleep until 4.30am and had to be up at 7 the next morning. The wedding party even let off fireworks right under our window at 1.30am! The room also had exposed electrical wiring coming out of two walls. The included breakfast was a joke and barely edible, We paid for our own breakfast elsewhere the following morning. To top it all off the bathroom door didnt even close all the way and we all saw each other on the toilet when walking past.

: Staff in the associated Hotel Restaurant Kiwi pleasant and helpful when we could not find any staff from the agroturizam to help us. Sympathetically converted farm buildings, some period furnishings and decor, nice outdoor pool and terrace areas, well kept gardens. Free onsite parking and good wifi, room was air conditioned. Inexpensive lodging. I'm really struggling to find positives!
: This is not an agriturizam as it claims to be. There are no grape vineyards, no animals, no olive groves. Website pictures are totally misleading. It seems that the property is trying to be more of a wedding/events facility rather than a family-run farm-stay that the website describes. Contrary to the description, our room, Ap-Stana, did not have a patio or a balcony and there was no garden view, rather we looked onto a gravel storage yard at the back of the property. Every lamp in the room was broken, the shower head was broken and had to be held in one hand, plaster was missing from several walls, neither tv got reception, the hairdryer was dangling from a water pipe, there were dirty dishes on the counter of the "kitchenette" (I use that term loosely). We were provided with one large towel and three small hand towels so I located the linen cupboard myself as i could find no staff to help out. I'm not sure about the "award-winning on-site restaurant" which uses "fresh food grown on the property" - we were sent to the Kiwi Restaurant located in the roadside hotel of the same name for dinner and the "included" breakfast which was simple at best. It seems as though this "country house" is severely under staffed, overwhelmed, and they are overly ambitious in their attempt to host large weddings and events to the detriment of guests who want an authentic agriturizam experience. The cost of our stay was very inexpensive, but we didn't choose this property because it was a bargain; we chose this property based on the description and photos presenting an authentic, family-run agriturizam experience. Sadly we got what we paid for I guess
