The restaurant was awarded 3 toques by the Gault Millau guide. Chef Andreas Döllerer serves a combination of international dishes and local classics made from regional products.

The Felsenalm fitness and spa area features a bio steam sauna Finnish sauna infrared cabin and exercise equipment. The bright and stylish rooms offer free WiFi a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. They offer views of Golling Castle or the nature reserve.

Free private parking is available on site. Golling-Abtenau Train Station is 500 metres away and offers direct connections to Salzburg every 30 minutes.

: Very spacious and clean rooms. Quiet. Nice mountain and city view. The breakfast was very diverse and we appreciated the feinkost section where one get served high quality cheese and meet. Fruits were super fresh. Nice food at the restaurant with high quality ingredients.The young restaurant staff is friendly.
: It would have been nice for the price to have coffee and tea available to guests in the rooms for late evenings or early mornings. Our dog got charged 33 for one night. I think it is a bit expensive. The restaurant although served good food was overpriced for the creativity. It charged Michelin 1* or 2* prices. The place sell itself as a family owned business but somehow send snobby-business vibes rather than friendly ones.We stopped here from our hiking/beach holidays on our way to Berlin and did not have out best attire with us and we felt very well observed at dinner. Not a big issue for us but some people may feel uncomfortable with that.

: Rooms are modern and clean.Two good restaurants (one formal and expensive, the other slightly more casual, but still high quality) in the hotel.Excellent breakfast which includes selecting meat products at their in-house butcher shop.
: For a hotel at this level you would expect coffee and tea making facilities in the room.There is only one elevator and if your room happens to be at the back of the hotel you have to go through several doors and down and up a few steps to get to your room, while carrying your luggage.
