  : Location is nicely positioned in the middle of the 2 towns of Soldeu and Grau Roig. There is a free courtesy bus in the description. However what they dont tell you is its only in the direction of Grau Roig and we had booked all our ski stuff out of Soldeu Gondola, therefore it was of no use to us and we then had to pay for the public bus that was extremely unreliable and made us late for ski lessons nearly every day. The bus fare is 1.90 each was and for a family of 5 this was an extra 15.20 per day. Under 5 yrs go free. There is a very good supermarket shop on the otherside of the road and a nice restaurant opposite. Bathroom was very nice and of a good standard.Kitchen/Lounge was nice and of a good standard. Infact the kitchen had the only 1 light in the apartment that gave out any decent light. It was an under unit light. There was a nice coffee pods machine. Nespresso. This was well received. XxxPull out sofa bed was nice and comfortable for my sons to sleep on however not very good as a sofa as the cushions did not hold themselves therefore you sit on it at a downward angle. Very annoying when trying to watch a bit of TV. TV was a modern TV therefore we were able to plug in our Firestick and this hotel/ apartment had very good strong WiFi. A big plus for my boys. The Spa area. Nothing better than to come off the mountain of a days skiiing and to jump in the Jacuzzi. I loved it. So did the rest of the family. It was nice and clean offering a Jym, kids play area and then the main Spa consists of a Sauna, steam/wet room and Jacuzzi. Plus they have an outside Jacuzzi too. Lovely spot to watch the mountains and the stars etc. Infact on our last day this was a super finish to our holiday to use the Spa before being collected by coach.
  : I booked a 2 bed apartment in May 23. Our visit was Feb 24 for skiing. On arrival we were given a 1 bed apartment with a half mezzanine above the bedroom bed. Our bedroom was rather small as it was. There was a near vertical wood ladder to get up to the Window Less floor above my bed. There was just enough room for a thin double mattress on the floor and a safety balustrade. So this was definitely NOT a 2 bed apartmentas per my booking. I had about 12 inches to walk down the side of the bed and kept stubbing my tow on the ladder each morning. So you can imagine I wasn't too happy at all.We wanted a 2 bed so that our 4 yr old could go to bed and we could have an evening in the lounge. The mezzanine was far too dangerous for a 4 yr old. The ladder was near vertical.I informed reception on our arrival that we had booked a 2 bed and showed the Booking.com booking with the photos showing clearly the 2 different bedrooms. ...... I was told that in the small print would of described this half a room situation..I feel I have been hood-winked here but this was our family extra special Skiing holiday and I didn't want to make a fuss. I had already given them 9 months notice to make sure my room was available. Shame..... I think they thought they could squeeze us in a smaller room and we would be fine, the kids will love it up there. No, it wasn't, and No they didn't.... It should of been a 2 bedroom.!!!!Lighting. Oh my gosh,... for such a lovely building/apartment you would think they would have some lights in the ceiling.... No... They had a couple of lamps and a couple of wall lights that gave off a glow... Inside the apartment after dark is very very low on light. Honestly I'm not exaggerating, we had to use our mobile phones torch to illuminate the oven, microwave, dish washer, to look in cupboards etc as you simply could not see anything. There was however 1 under unit light that actually gave out decent light in the kitchen.Noise.
